Faculty for the Chesterfield and Sheffield FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) Clinical Course

Faculty is made up exclusively of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons. Last year there were 35 consultants involved. This is an extremely high consultant to candidate ratio. Most are from within the region but there are some external faculty.

All consultants are chosen for their known skills in teaching. All have sat the FRCS (Tr&Orth). Some of the faculty are present examiners for the FRCS (Tr&Orth) Intercollegiate Board. As per regulations of the College they are allowed to teach on the course but not to examine.
